TAU! Wines

TAU! is a natural wine from the Vinhos Verdes region, made from small-scale local productions using carefully selected grapes. Each edition is unique and carries its own identity — the grape varieties, vineyards, and blends change, and with them, the wine’s flavor.

The Project / The Brand

Beyond being a wine, TAU! is also an artistic project. In each edition, invited artists develop the visual identity of the bottles, creating a dialogue between nature, creation, and experimentation. This collaborative method, which integrates artistic creation and conceptual synergies, results in a brand in constant evolution, always opening new paths: from an Alvarinho vineyard with overripe grapes, to old-vine Arinto, to the wines currently on the market or soon to be released — a white from a vineyard 900m from the sea, a single-varietal Tinta Roriz from the Vinhos Verdes region, or a wine made from traditional “enforcado” vines vinified in clay amphorae.

Past and Present of the TAU! brand

TAU! is represented by a network of partners, from wine bars to boutique restaurants and even in your local cultural association. Places that share TAU!’s mindset. It is also possible that you’ve come across TAU! in contemporary art events, small festivals or museum and gallery openings. TAU! has recently been present at Senhora Presidenta gallery in Porto, Kindred Spirit gallery in Lisbon, Festival Barlos in Barcelos, Ponte de Lima Festival, and Semente Festival in Viana do Castelo.
